Saundra N. McCray

Saundra McCray has served in the Medicaid Insurance and Operational Medicine Industry forover twenty years. She has been a dauntless advocate for underserved populations through-out her many years of service. Empowering, teaching, nurturing, and emanating triumph 

through tribulation are some of her attributes.  

She is an exceptional motivational speaker who has shared her testimony as an example that the realization of dreams is attainable no matter where one has been in the past or what 

they've gone through.  

Saundra was introduced to Forget Me Knot Children & Youth Services eight years ago while 

serving as a Health Center Administrator. She co-facilitated a partnership with Forget Me 

Knot that was designed to provide physical, dental, and behavioral health services to the 

youth of Forget Me Knot. She has been at the helm of hundreds of children being able to become and remain healthier.  

In 2021, Saundra answered the message in her heart and became a part of the Forget Me 

Knot Children & Youth team. She now serves as their Health Administrator. 

In her role, she ensures that every youth whose care is outdated receives a physical, dental, 

and vision exam. She has successfully built solid partnerships with three major health systemsthat currently provide care for our youth. 

She coordinates and accompanies the youth for these services in addition to specialty 

services; if needed. She educates the youth in regard to selfcare and patient rights.  Also, 

she encourages them to participate in their healthcare and ask questions about their health during appointments. She also oversees the medication administration process. 

The youth of Forget Me Knot love and rely on “Ms. Saundra” greatly. She has an open-door policy and always makes time to provide sound advice and empowerment; mixed with a measure of humor and unconditional love.
